ANTHONY HOYOS

Anthony Hoyos started his professional ballet training in New York City at age 15 under the Tutelage of ABT Principal Dancer Ashley Tuttle. He then went on to train on Full Scholarship at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet with legendary teacher Marcia Dale Weary. At CPYB he also had the honor to train under Alan Hineline, Amanda Edge, Simon Ball, and Melinda Howe. Continuing his ballet education he went to train and be coached daily on full Scholarship with Master Teacher Wilhelm "Willy" Burmann. At the same time he trained on full scholarship at Ballet Academy East under the genius eye of Darla Hoover. At BAE he also trained extensively with Tara Mora, Stacey Calvert, Elizabeth Walker, Francis Veyette, & Maxim Beloserkovsky. Upon graduation he joined Carolina Ballet where he went on to dance for 5 seasons.
