REESE PUGH
Reese Pugh is incredibly thrilled to be teaching at CDC for her second season. Reese was raised in Richmond, VA and began her dance training at the Village Dance Studios. She joined the School of Richmond Ballet in 2017; during her training, Reese performed in several Richmond Ballet productions, dancing in children’s roles alongside the company. Reese continued her dance education at Meredith College under Carol Finley, Courtney White, and Eleanor Smith. She earned two bachelors degrees from Meredith in 2025, graduating with B.A. in Dance and B.S. in Early Childhood Development. While at Meredith, Reese performed and choreographed for several student dance companies, directed several student productions, and gained extensive experience stage managing productions alongside Jim Frick. Outside of dance, Reese is pursuing her passion for early education by teaching at the Frankie Lemmon School and Developmental Center. Throughout both the classroom and the dance studio, Reese’s teachings reflect her values of using movement, music, and play to strengthen motor skills, social and emotional learning, and language. Reese wishes to create a safe space for all students of all abilities to learn and experience dance in a collaborative way. She cannot wait for another great year at CDC!
