EMMA MUNCIE

Emma Muncie, from Raleigh, NC, is a recent graduate from East Carolina University. She earned her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. At ECU, Emma had been featured in numerous ECU/Loessin Playhouse productions and remained an active member in dance honor societies and clubs.

 

Emma is a proud Carolina Dance Center alumni and during her 15 years of dancing at CDC, she trained in numerous styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and acro. She participated in many CDF performances and Carolina Groove Elite competitions such as YAGP, NYCDA, Revel, Hollywood Vibe, and more.

 

In 2023 and 2025, Emma had the privilege of traveling abroad to The Netherlands where she trained at the Henny Jurriëns Studio for their summer intensive and performed choreographic works in Amsterdam. Recently, Emma completed two artist residencies: one in Mareuil en Périgord, France, with choreographer Kanon Sapp, and another in Asheville, NC, with choreographer Marcelo Martinez. Emma is excited to share her knowledge at Carolina Dance Center!
