EMMA READ

Emma has an infectious zest for life and dance. She grew up in Raleigh, NC, and began taking dance classes at Carolina Dance Center when she was just 3 years old. She is well versed in all styles of dance; however, her favorites are jazz, lyrical, and hip hop.

 

Emma started as a teacher’s assistant at an early age, driven by her strong passion for both learning and teaching. One of her favorite opportunities with CDC was assisting with the Joy Club and the Power Sparklers. Emma danced at CDC for 15 years and danced competitively with Carolina Power Company. Outside of the studio, she enjoys nannying and spending quality time with friends and family. Emma is thrilled to be teaching at Carolina Dance Center!
