LELIA SAFFOLD

Lelia Saffold is a dancer and choreographer from Raleigh, NC. She graduated summa cum laude from Meredith College with a BA in dance and a minor in English, having served as a company member in Meredith Dance Theatre and president of the Meredith Dance Association. Lelia began her training in 2004 at Carolina Dance Center and is well-versed in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, and tap. She has also trained with the Joffrey Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet, and as an MFA candidate at Temple University. Lelia is currently a company member with Triangle Fusion Dance Company, and as an independent artist she has shown her work at festivals in New York City and Durham, NC. When not dancing, you can find her attending as many Halsey concerts as she possibly can, cooking, writing, and spending time with her dogs Franklin and Miracle.
