MAREN RICH

Maren is a Raleigh native who developed her love of dance at a young age right here at Carolina Dance Center! She then went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts High School with a concentration in ballet performance and danced as a trainee with the Louisville Ballet. Some of her favorite performances include Ethan Stiefel's 'Nutcracker', Larry Kegwin's 'Kingdom', and Robert Curran's 'Coppelia'. Maren earned her Bachelor's of Social Work from Appalachian State University and focuses on integrating a person-centered approach into her teaching methods. Maren is passionate about creating a safe and open environment in which students are encouraged to explore, learn, and express themselves. She can't wait to share her love of ballet with our CDC family!
