TAMMY HNATEK

Tammy Hnatek was born and raised in San Jose, California, and moved to North Carolina in 2000. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Education. Tammy’s journey with Carolina Dance Center began in 2004 when her oldest daughter decided to follow her beloved teachers to their new studio. Since then, she has spent many hours volunteering in many areas—her favorite being costumes—and was part of the founding team of the Carolina Dance Foundation, where she continues to serve as President.

All three of Tammy’s daughters danced at CDC, with two continuing through their senior year of high school. Outside of the studio, Tammy enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, Steve (a former CDC volunteer), her daughters—Taylor, Hallie, and Preslie—as well as family and friends.

Tammy is excited to support current and future CDC dancers and families, offering guidance and assistance as they experience the many wonderful opportunities the studio provides.
